Lately, I visited the Glacier National Park. The trip gave me immense pleasure after a long time period. This is one such area where nature has bestowed her exquisiteness to the mountains. For long, I have been travelling to nearby places, sometimes alone, other times with my family. However, to the Glacier National Park, I visited alone. Each of us has a story that encompasses an important life-changing event, but the main difference between people is that some are more willing to share their stories than others. By describing my experience of the event that made me who I am today, it’s like telling my story so that it helps others to understand me as the person I am. Have you heard of a near-death experience or a close brush with death? Something that happened that brought a person to the brink of death? There are a few events that I believe have influenced and inspired me so much that I know they have changed my worldview and affected me forever. This event is one of them.

During a trip in 2015, I learned a lot about the importance of family and the need for a strong sense of community and family values. It gave me an understanding of how big a ‘family’ can be.

After the accident, the EMTs arrived and took us to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but, unfortunately, my father died shortly after because of the serious injuries he had sustained. His death was a life-changing moment for me. I became the head of the house and had to take on many new responsibilities. It made me grow up very quickly, but I also learned how well-loved my father had been in our local community.

Everyone rallied around to help us in the first few months following his death, which was a great help. It was like having a super large family – everyone looking after us in our moment of need. It was a moment that changed my life, as I could have died that day too. Something I’ll never forget. So now I never take anything for granted.

I’m fortunate to have learned these lessons at a young age and to have come to appreciate the ideals I grew up with as a child. There’s nothing better than to learn by looking at your life experiences over time.

Some people may have extreme events in their lives that might worry them if they revisit them. The person I am today is partly the result of all that has happened in my past. All the events that have affected my life have all contributed something. I’m constantly reminded of how lucky I am to be alive – and so I try to use the experience as a springboard to successfully overcome obstacles rather than think of myself as a lifelong victim of sad circumstances.

Mona Lisa is a half-length portrait painting which is extremely famous in the whole world. It was created by Leonardo da Vinci. And, in fact, this is the most known and most praised painting in the world.

Actually, my parents took me to the Louvre Museum in Paris where I first met with this painting and the character. When I grew up, I paid some visits to the same museum only to see the painting. It is said that the painting is the portrait of a woman named Lisa who was the wife of a nobleman at that time.

I like the painting for a few specific reasons. The most important reason for liking the painting is the mysterious smile of the woman. The historical value of this painting also notable. Though no exact date of origin for this painting is found, it is assumed that it has been painted in 1506.

The past history of this painting also attracts me. It was acquired by King Francis but later, the painting has become the property of the French government. Moreover, it has been exhibited since 1797 in the display of this museum for permanently.

Honestly, I did not have any special feeling when I first saw it. I was a small boy then. But gradually I came to know about the history of the painting and a special attraction grew in me. Now I am a diehard fan of this painting indeed.

I am a sportive personality and have a keen interest in water sports. I have experienced a few water sports already, such as boating and river rafting. However, the one activity that I am desperate to try is scuba diving.

It is one of the best adventurous water sports that lets you go deep into the water and experience the depth of marine life. I got to know about this activity from a friend who had tried it in Singapore.

I researched more on it and found out that wearing safety gear and carrying an oxygen cylinder is necessary to stay in the water for a long time.
