Answer: Definitely yes. I have a lot of technological devices in my house and I've lived my life much easier thanks to them. I can surf websites with my phone, entertain with countless shows on my TV, study and work remotely with my laptop. Though it's true that technology can affect your mental health, without them my life would suffer a lot.
Question 2: Do you want to become an inventor in the future? (Trong tương lai bạn có mong muốn trở thành nhà sáng chế không?)
Answer: To be honest, sometimes I wish I could invent something useful for human beings but I find myself not creative enough to be an inventor. I'm not good at physics and math, which are essential technical know-how if you want to create technological innovations. That's why I think I'd be better off just supporting new inventions by buying them.
Question 3: How has your mobile phone changed your life? (Điện thoại di động đã thay đổi cuộc sống của bạn như thế nào?)
Answer: I would say a lot, for better and for worse. With my phone, I can contact my friends and parents at any time. I can multitask, for example, sending emails, making phone calls,... and watch movies, listen to music and take photos with it. However, since I had my phone, it's difficult to stay focused, especially on a conversation without checking my phone.

As a huge science fan, I idolize a lot of inventors. One of them is Elon Musk. He is not only an industrial engineer but also an entrepreneur. His ambitions and creations are awe-inspiring and they go beyond the time.
Elon Musk started innovating from a very young age. Until now, he owns over 10 inventions, ranging from electric vehicles to artificial intelligence, games, and e-payment platforms. One of his most famous inventions is Tesla, an auto-driving electric car. The reason why this car is so well-known and widely used is because it uses clean energy. Little do you know that Musk also co-founded Paypal, an international financial technology company based in America. Many people call him a genius and the 21st century’s Thomas Edison.
Not to mention, Musk is a talented entrepreneur. At the age of 52, he became the wealthiest person in the world. The most amazing thing about Musk is he never stops there. He keeps bringing up new ideas and inventions that could change our lives forever even though going through a lot of experiments, errors and failures.
It's true that there are some controversial discussions around Musk, but he's still one of my favorite inventors of all time.

I would like to talk about an invention, in my opinion, that has been making our life easier and simpler: the Internet.
Without a doubt, the internet connects people from all around the world free and fast, which makes it the most powerful medium of communication. In the past, it would take days or even months to receive a letter from someone else, but with internet connectivity, we can send messages, make calls and even video calls immediately. As a result of this, we can communicate and work with other people across different parts of the world, which provides many with the ability to work from home or have a virtual office.
Furthermore, the Internet contains an enormous amount of knowledge, so it has become very easy for people to rummage the internet and get the necessary information. We can use a search engine like Google to ask any question and find a web page with an answer and information about that question. Therefore, the Internet is a great platform for students to learn new things and even obtain degrees through online courses.
Last but not least, the Internet provides people with access to endless entertainment. With this invention, we can watch movies, videos, play games online, and listen to music. There are many sites available on the internet, which contain different entertainment materials like music, videos, and more. For example, we can watch millions of videos on a platform like YouTube without paying any costs.

Để trả lời các câu hỏi về Topic Invention trong IELTS Speaking Part 3, bạn cần trang bị cho mình một số kiến thức xung quanh chủ đề phát minh, công nghệ, khoa học để có thể trả lời các follow-up questions của giám khảo. Question 1: What is the most helpful innovation at home? (Phát minh có ích nhất trong nhà là gì?)
Answer: There are a variety of innovations people use at home everyday to make their lives more convenient. As an Asian, I think the most useful one is the dishwasher. It can wash dirty plates, cups, bowls, utensils automatically and cleaner than we do. Since we often have meals with our family members and hold gathering parties, a dishwasher saves us from doing the most annoying household chore ever.
Question 2: What household appliances make us lazy? (Những thiết bị gia dụng nào khiến chúng ta lười biếng?)
Answer: Frankly speaking, technology is supposed to make our lives easier, so obviously any household appliances can make us slothful. If I have to choose one, it must be the robot vacuum. A robot vacuum’s job is cleaning the floor and any other flat, large surfaces. This job actually requires humans to move around a lot, and use our arms and legs' muscles too. With a robot vacuum in our house, we will all become a couch potato for sure.
Question 3: What kind of invention can be used at school? (Loại phát minh nào có thể được dùng tại trường học?)
Answer: As far as I am concerned, the idea of using technology inventions at school has sparked for years. In Western countries, teachers and students use laptops, projectors and other technological tools to teach and learn. In the near future, I think we can apply other innovative equipment such as whiteboard-scanning, image enhancement and speech into text conversion. These tools will facilitate students' learning process as well as teachers' communication of knowledge for sure.
Question 4: Do you think Al will replace human teachers? Why? (Bạn có nghĩ trí tuệ nhân tạo sẽ thay thế giáo viên không? Tại sao?)
Answer: In fact, AI has been experimented to teach at schools to replace humans. However, I strongly believe that human teachers are better at communicating and interacting with students. Even though technological advancement has better access to the world's information and knowledge, it can't surpass the teaching skills of human beings. Being a good teacher does not only require teaching skills, but also the ability to lend an empathetic ear towards students, including their mental problems. And I think this is something that AI fails to offer.
